I have always been interested in photography from the age of 9 years old, when I had my first instamatic camera.  I used black and White film taking photos of Timpsons shoe factory gardens, as my dad was a head gardener there.  My first Camera Club that I joined was Desborough and Rothwell Photographic Society in 1977 Where I met John Clow and he helped me gain my LRPS.

At the time I also met a good friend of mine, who was Alwyn Cockram and he introduced me to Audio Visual which fascinated me.  I went on to enter sequences in Midfot.

When I moved to Burton Latimer in 1990 I joined Burton Latimer Photographic Society where I met your founding member of Kettering Photographic Society Alex Miller.

After my wife had bought me a 8mm video camera, I got interested in Amature film making and joined Rushden Movie Makers.  Due to technology, we had to close the club as we was struggling to find new members in 2015.You can see some of my films by going to this link.

In 2014 I enrolled at the Insitute of Photography and gained a diploma and at present i'm working on a advanced diploma in Photography.

As Rushden movie makers closed  I decided to join Kettering Photograpic society has I have heard that it was a forword thinking club, unfortunately my old friend Alex Miller died at the beginning of the year.
